Ileocolic Anastomosis
This is a normal ileocolic anastomosis in a patient after a rightsided hemicolectomy because of an adenomarcinoma in the colon ascendens. Surveillance by colonoscopy is important, a tumor in the anastomose region is difficult to exclude in barium enema.
